Blood Tests

We Can Send You For Blood Tests

At Wellness Perth Natural Medicine we are able to send our patients for comprehensive blood tests, much like your regular doctor.

Kylie Robshaw will explain your results through her unique functional medicine perspective and provide prepared copies for you to keep.

These can be genuinely life-changing for our patients; finding answers and solutions to health concerns.

We also access your past blood tests and prepare these ahead of your first appointment. Past blood tests can provide detailed information about your health that would otherwise be unknown; may pinpoint specific areas for further in-depth testing and can hold important information which your doctor may not be trained to understand or may not have a medication to correct.

A wider range of blood tests

We have the ability to organise thousands of different available blood tests through leading national and international laboratories, including both standard blood tests and specialised blood tests. At Wellness Perth Natural Medicine, we’re proud to be at the forefront of modern medicine, utilising in-depth blood testing and our unique perspective of blood test results to find answers and solutions for your health and well-being.

Our unique perspective of reference ranges

When reviewing blood tests we utilise our own unique perspective of functional medicine reference ranges developed over many years of working with patients.
Unlike standard Australian pathology ranges, these are specific ranges we feel your results should fall within to ensure your body is functioning optimally – and for you to feel well and healthy.

Many patients have experienced going to their doctor for blood tests because they feel unwell or fatigued, but are told their blood tests have come back ‘normal’ and there is nothing wrong with them. Does this really mean there is nothing wrong with this person who feels unwell?

Is the reference range appropriate for this individual?

Are there more specific and detailed tests that may help us find the answer for this patient?

For example, many patients have been told they are in the ‘normal’ reference range for thyroid hormone levels; yet they display symptoms of a low thyroid condition, such as fatigue, hair loss or difficulty losing weight.

When we run our comprehensive testing and review these from our unique perspective of reference ranges we may discover the answer and solution for this same patient!
